ABOUT THE ARTIST
Sasan Nakhshab was born in Iran, but emigrated to the USA at the age of eighteen. He is a retired civil engineer and developer by trade, as well as an experienced musician.
Sasan's passion for Persian poetry led him to create several albums of the finest classical lyrics sung to his own music.
Traditional Dondak and Kaman Cheh feature alongside rock guitar and jazz saxophone, in a unique blend of old and new. Sasan's work combines Iranian and Western influences with the harmony that has characterized his own life.
